Cyber Summer Camp – 2025 successfully finished!
The camp, held from July 28 to August 3, was organized in cooperation with the Stirling Foundation (USA) and the IT Education Association of Uzbekistan.
As part of the “Muhammad al-Khwarizmi’s Heirs” initiative implemented by the Center for the Development of Digital Education, the camp offered an intensive program for mentors, including IT training sessions, English language classes, workshops, cultural events, as well as intellectual and sports competitions.
Participants gained both theoretical and practical knowledge in the following areas:
✅ Cybersecurity ✅ DevOps ✅ Programming (Front-end & Back-end) ✅ Data Analysis ✅ English for IT
The hackathon competition was one of the camp’s most exciting highlights, fostering creative thinking, the search for technological solutions, and teamwork skills. Winners were awarded certificates and memorable gifts.
Cyber Summer Camp – 2025 was not only an educational program but also served to strengthen cooperation and build a friendly environment among mentors.
This project became another important step in expanding digital education in Uzbekistan and guiding the younger generation toward modern IT professions.

"Cyber Summer Camp – 2025" has started in Tashkent!
The "Cyber Summer Camp – 2025," aimed at developing digital education and IT potential in Uzbekistan, has officially begun.
Cyber Summer Camp is a two-week intensive training program for mentors and school students working within the "Muhammad al-Khwarizmi’s Heirs" system.
The project involves nearly 150 IT and IT English language mentors, as well as more than 50 ninth- and tenth-grade students, with the goal of improving language proficiency from A2 to B1–B2 levels, and providing eleventh-grade students with practical IT experience.
Within the camp, opportunities for IT education will be created for youth from Khorezm and Karakalpakstan. It will also serve as a platform that combines practice and innovation, where participants will gain in-depth knowledge and skills in the most relevant areas of modern information technology, such as:
• Cybersecurity • DevOps • Back-end and Front-end development • Data analysis • IT English
In addition, participants will take part in team competitions, cultural events, and a hackathon, gaining direct interaction with industry and innovation.

On July 21, Uzbekistan hosted the Forum on the Development of IT and Digital Education to promote digital literacy, advance IT education, and enhance preparation for future professions.
The forum featured discussions on the most pressing issues in the sector and the presentation of new research findings.
The event was dedicated to the outcomes of the project “Improving Uzbekistan’s IT and Digital Education Landscape: Research Phase”, which is part of a broader initiative to develop the country’s digital education and IT workforce.
The main goals of the project are to raise IT and digital literacy in Uzbekistan and assess the level of IT skills among socially vulnerable groups — including youth, rural populations, women, people with disabilities, and members of low-income families.
The project, implemented in collaboration between the IT Education Association and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, is aimed at improving digital literacy and ensuring quality IT education in Uzbekistan's gradual transition toward a digital economy.
