A computer science teacher from Syrdarya came to the Programming Festival with 60 of his students
"If I can help even one of my students find their way in life, I will not have lived in vain" — Dilmurod Yo'ldoshev, an informatics teacher at a school in Mirzaabad district of Syrdarya region.
As we previously reported (link), the GDG DevFest programmers' festival, which brought together programmers, technology enthusiasts, and industry experts, was held in Tashkent.
More than 3,000 young people working in the IT sector attended the festival.
We met schoolchildren among the visitors and interviewed their teachers. As it turned out, the participants were students from grades 6 to 10 of a school in Mirzaabad district of Syrdarya region who were interested in the IT sector. The school's computer science teacher, Dilmurod Yo'ldoshev, and other enterprising teachers at the school brought 60 students to this event with the permission of their parents.
"Seeing the speakers participating in today's youth festival, I thought that my students should participate in it and get motivation for themselves in life. If I can contribute to even one of my students finding their way in life, I feel that my life is not in vain. Thank you to my colleagues who supported my initiative," - says Dilmurod Yo'ldoshev.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to our selfless teachers like Dilmurod Yo'ldoshev, who are not indifferent to the interests and fate of their students!
